PUGGLE BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Camilla was safely delivered of 9 Puggle puppies this morning: 1 female & 8 males. Being a high
number of puppies, the next 3 weeks are crucial. For this reason, we will not be posting individual
puppy photos, nor scheduling viewing appointments until they are over 2 weeks of age &
considered out of the woods.

Puggle Birth Announcement!
Update: All of Munchkin & Teddy's Puggle litter have been sold.

Munchie was safely delivered of 4 female and 1 male Puggle puppies. Thus far, everyone is nursing & healthy.
These next two weeks are the most dangerous in their young lives. Most puppies, if they are not going to survive, will fade out before the litter reaches two weeks of age. This is why we wait to post individual photos until they pass this test of strength; being a high number of puppies, it is already challenging for all. Munchie is a show (Bench) Beagle. She has a short little body, so unless she stretches straight out, it's hard for all to fit at nursing time.
Here is a photo of the newborn puppies. I thought all of the pups were in the shot, but one must have been headed to the milk bar.
Finally, they are not black & tan. They are brownish gold with black points. The poor pups kept getting wet by Munchie licking them or birthing yet another sibling to them. We dried them off soooo many times!

Beagle mating announcement!
Our 14" Lemon & white, spotted Patch Hound/Beagle, Dottie, was taken to Hunter, a 15"flashy tri Beagle. God-willing, there will be a Beagle litter in late October! These two should produce dual purpose Beagles: they can be trained to hunt/compete, or they will become wonderful therapy dogs.

We are cutting back on the number of Beagles we currently have, including some that are not shown on our Active Dogs for 2023-2024 page. All are housebroken, friendly, even-tempered, affectionate, and leash broke. All Beagles are 4 yrs & under.

Puggle Pregnancy Announcement!
Pocket Beagle, Munchkin, is expecting a litter of Puggle puppies at the end of this month. She was bred to our senior fawn Pug sire, Teddy, who passes on intelligent, loving, loyal Puggle puppies.

Seven of Camilla and Spark's puppies made it & we posted photos of them on our Available Dogs & Puppies page. We are retaining a male and female. The other male has been claimed. We will have 4 beautiful, mainly white Beagle females available & two nearly white males!

Birth Day!
Camilla, was safely delivered of 7 puppies this afternoon. These puppies belong to our Spark. There are 5 girls and 2 boys in their first litter. All are currently healthy and strong, nursing to get that all-important colostrum.
Check back in two weeks when we post photos of the available puppies. A.K.C. registration will be an option with the puppies from these two phenomenal tri-purpose dogs (hunt, therapy/companion, or Police sniff dogs).

We were down to one puppy available in the litter on our sales page but, in a decision to change direction, we are adding another male from this litter for sale, and just keeping one Patch-type male from Tracie's litter! He strongly resembles his sire, the great Go-kart Mozart. So, there are now two puppies left out of four up for sale. We will post his photo shortly.

Birth Day!!
A.K.C. Magnolia Acres Patchwerk Tracie gave birth to Go-Kart Mozart of Vinegar Hill's 5 puppies tonight. All are bi-coloured, similarly sized, strong, and nursing like champs. ALL 5 puppies are male! We have never had a single gender litter before.

We have posted the sale photos of the available female puppies from our main Patch hound Beagle bloodline tonight. They are posted on our Available Dogs & Puppies page. There are only two puppies available!
If you were waiting for the last of Spark's grandpups via Dottie, now is the time. We are retiring her after she weans this 2nd litter. Otherwise, it will be about 2 years before the female pup we are retaining can be evaluated for conformation, disposition, capability, & speed. If they meet our standards, &, Almighty God-willing, they should, they will be allowed to keep the line going by producing the next generation at that time.

One of our kennel's home-grown Patch puppies, Magnolia Acres When Josie Comes Home, went to be trained for A.K.C. hunting trials with a view of honing those fiercely natural skills that are in her bloodline. Her trainer sold her for A.K.C. competitions. Here was her recent listing by the facility. Josie sold for $1200.00.
