Dottie has successfully tied with Teddy, our fawn Pug.

We should know in about a month whether or not the duo were successful.  This page will be updated approximately one month from today.

Bookmark our site and check back for our next update on Dottie.

Happy news!

The second and final bitch to be utilized this calendar year, the young, spotted lemon & white Beagle known as Dottie, is now in her anticipated estrus cycle.  We intend to take her to our Pug sire, Teddy, next week as she becomes receptive, with a view of a Puggle litter.

If they act on it, we shall post an announcement of a potential pregnancy.  If not, we will update this note.

Check back by late next week.

We want to sincerely thank all of the families who have adopted our January litter. All of the puppies were picked within two days' time from this old, old, and favoured line of ours. Thank you for opening your hearts and homes to these loving companion dogs.

Although we have no other puppies available at this time, we do have a lovely chocolate tri female Beagle available. She is listed at the bottom of our Available Dogs & Puppies page. We have had her less than a year, having purchased her from Johnston's Beagle Farm down in Macedonia, Illinois. Glen Johnston advertised that she is 2 years of age. Lovely personality. Housebroken, knows basic commands. If you are interested in meeting Rosie, call or e-mail us today!

Available Puggle and Beagle puppies & One Adult Beagle Are Posted!

We have both male and female Puggle puppies who are available for companionship purposes, and they are simply gorgeous.  All are bi-coloured.  Most are lemon & white, but there are a couple who are tan & white, and one who is lilac.

We also have a lovely adult female Beagle available that we brought in a year ago from Johnston's Beagles in Macedonia, IL.  Glen Johnston listed her as a two year old who is a natural hunter.  She is housebroken and gentle, but cannot tolerate other bitches.  She is fine with dogs though (males).  Playful, alert, affectionate, and loving.   A must see.

Rosie must be the only bitch in a household, as she has an intense dislike of other gals in her pack.  Male dogs are fine, females are not.

Go to our Available Dogs & Puppies page to see them!

They're here!!!

Seven (4b/3f) healthy, bi-coloured puppies were born here in the early hours of this morning. Everyone is healthy.  Praising God!

We will post photos of our available pups in about 4 weeks. Mark your calendars!

Happy New Year!

Success!

We have both Beagle and Puggle puppies on the way toward the end of the month!  Remember to check back for the upcoming birth announcements.  We are so very excited to meet them!

30 November 2021
And, for the first time since we lost our last Pug, we simultaneously have a new Puggle litter on the way from Teddy and Molly, God-willing.  The puppies are also due in January!  This is the second and final mating for 2021 and early 2022 will apparently be a very busy, exciting time.  We cannot wait to meet them and see what these two can do.

28 November 2021
God works in mysterious ways!  Today, we announce a mating between two of our lemon and white Beagles, Spark and Mags!  Welcomed news after a week such as last week was.

Bookmark our site and check back for an update in a month with what will hopefully be a pregnancy announcement.

27 November 2021
It is with deep sadness that we announce that there will be no puppies from Rosie. A rare complication occurred at delivery time this past week, one we had not experienced before, as it is uncommon in Beagles and Beagle crosses. It is for this reason that we removed mention of her pregnancy and labour from this news page, and her portrait from our Active Dogs for 2021 page.

To God be the glory. It looks like Rosie will survive her ordeal. And if she does, she is retired and will live the rest of her life as one of our friends.

3 August 2021
Both Rosie and Magda have passed their health exams with flying colours and are set to be the first two bitches to be bred once our rest period ends in late autumn.  Dottie will not be considered until summer 2022.

We expect to update once Magda, and then Rosie have been serviced, we will update this page.  Current intentions are to take lemon & white 13" Magda again to lemon & white 15" Spark, while red and white 13" Rosie will go to tri-coloured 13" Dave.  When Dottie is ready to go, she will be taken to our Pug, Teddy.

3 April 2021
Magda is in the middle of her first estrus cycle of 2021.  She is riding this one out and not being bred.  However, this gives us a timeframe for that final, final litter with Spark.  Mags should be back in estrus in November and this is the time that she will be allowed to procreate.  This means a potential for January 2022 puppies!

Because this will be their last, we intend to retain two female progeny from their future litter.

31 March 2021
We are very pleased to announce that we are rearing our next Pug, Teddy. This means that we will have Puggle litters again! So, in late 2021 we will again have litters of top Beagles and Puggles available.

28 January 2021
After successfully retiring each female who delivered a second litter since 2019, we are rearing a pack of young Beagles, of both genders, who are tri-coloured, lemon & white, tan & white, and blue.  For this reason, there will be no other litters available until 2022 but, when that year arrives, expect good things from these outstanding keepers.  We have representatives from each line we have been working with and we know that these retained young females will shine at maturity, just like their older full siblings.

We will update our Active Dog page once these fine youngsters mature.

7 January 2021
We have chosen which puppies we are retaining from this current litter, one week ahead of schedule!  Because of this, we have posted the photos and information on the two puppies who are available. Both male and female are lemon & white. Their names are Gunnar & Grand Ruby.

Hurry before these two are gone.  This is our last lemon & white litter for about 2 years.  Once these two are gone, they are gone.

Our girl outdid herself with this last litter of hers!  They are all bi-coloured Beagle pups, as anticipated. But, there are two who shall be either tan & white &/or red & white, as per lack of solid black nose pigmentation.

In this litter, there are three lemon & white females and three females and one who will be blue (lavender/lilac/khaki) or rec.  With the males, there are two lemon & white and one red & white.  This is exciting!  Variety is what we enjoy the most.

They did it!   Seven perfect little puppies: Three (3) males and four (4) females.  Both mom & pups are doing great.

Individual photos will be posted on this site once the two (2) week mark is hit.  At that time, we can book appointments, and accept reservations.  Check back in two weeks for these photos.

Due to the sharp increase in puppy scams nationwide, with CBS estimating that 75% are false advertising, we are implementing video conferencing availability so that out-of-state individuals can see the puppies, their parents, any possible siblings that were retained, and, of course, us.  We strongly encourage in-person meeting, as there is nothing like picking up and holding the puppies, or seeing the parents/siblings and watching them move about, but with long distance transactions, this might not always be possible and we not only understand this, but have also become accustomed to it.

If any interested long distance party wishes to do a video chat, simply tell us when making your initial contact with us.  We will be happy to make it happen.

And, if any out of state individuals do not wish to make the drive out, we work with a professional, caring, over-the-road transporter that we can supply the name and number for the purpose of contacting for information/booking.  They are not the only transporter out there, but this is one we have used extensively and are confident in a dog's/puppy's handling whilst in transit.

It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved 15 year old Pug, Charles Chaplin, this afternoon. He died in my arms.  Charlie will be missed tremendously, but we are grateful for the opportunity to have his progeny with us.

Because we are in the upper midwest and winter will soon be here, we will be waiting until spring to bring his replacement puppy down.  Housebreaking a Pug in the winter is harsh, due to being a brachiocephalic breed, and we do not wish to unnecessarily stress our new stud.  Remember, our working and winning dogs are our companions and friends first.  These are dogs who fill our laps, sofas, beds, and hearts with love.  For this reason, we will not subject our newest companion to freezing whilst learning how to be housebroken.  We apologise for any inconvenience this causes, but his safety must come first.  Thank you for understanding our stance.

5 September 2020
Our A.K.C. Pug, Charles Chaplin, did it! He made it to fifteen (15) years of age today! His genes are full of Pugs who had long, healthy lives, save a few old age complaints that occurs in elderly dogs of every breed.

Happy, Happy Birthday, our faithful and true friend. Thank you for your years of total companionship and impeccable service. Thank you for your affection and deep love. Thank you for being your beautiful self.

You're the best, Charlie, our gift from God, Himself.
